A SHORT GUIDE TO ABADON: THE LIVING DEAD GIRL

On March 4th 2020, the world of pro-wrestling was introduced to the ‘Living Dead Girl’ Abadon, as she made her AEW Dark debut in a losing effort to Hikaru Shida. Since this initial debut, Abadon has been terrifying AEW’s women’s division with one of the most unique and disturbing personas ever seen in wrestling. Read on to find out more about this fascinating and creepy new face in All Elite Wrestling.

First of all, who is Abadon? Known as the ‘Living Dead Girl’, she was discovered by AEW when she gained their attention whilst they were in Denver. Billed as from ‘The Black Hill’ and weighing ‘1,000 Lost Souls’, could Abadon be the AEW women’s division’s worst nightmare, as she continues along her path of destruction?

Her rise to All Elite Wrestling has only taken little over a year to accomplish, as she made her pro-wrestling debut on 18th of January in 2019 with Respect Women’s Wrestling, where she took on Aria Aurora in a winning effort.

Abadon’s final match with Respect Women’s Wrestling came on the 2nd of Febuary 2020, when she defeated Phoebe. By this time she had accomplished a 7-3 winning record and had won the Rocky Pro Mountain Lockettes championship twice.

Since joining All Elite Wrestling Abadon has gained an impressive 5-1 record, and made her AEW Dynamite debut against Anna Jay on the 11th of June 2020.

Abadon is already 4th in the rankings within the AEW woman’s division. As we see her continue to capture attention with each appearance on Dynamite, there’s no doubt we could soon be seeing her in the title picture sooner rather than later.
