With almost 2 years after the announcement of All Elite Wrestling, now seems like a good time to look at all the title runs in the company so far.
THE AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
CHRIS JERICHO: 182 DAYS
After defeating Kenny Omega at the inugrual Double or Nothing PPV, Chris Jericho went on to face Hangman Adam Page at ALL OUT to become the first ever AEW world champion.

Jericho would then go onto to give himself the title of ‘Le Champion’, his title reign lasting an impressive 182 days whilst defending it against the likes of Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin.
JOHN MOXLEY: 277 DAYS
Moxley defeated ‘Le Champion’ Chris Jericho at the Revolution PPV in Feburay of this year. Since winning the title, Moxley has had an impressive title run defeating Jake Hager in an empty arena match, and also the likes of Brodie Lee, Brian Cage, and most recently Eddie Kingston at Full Gear.
KENNY OMEGA: CURRENT CHAMPION*
Omega won his first AEW world title at the ‘Winter is Coming’ Dynamite special back in December 2020, when he aligned himself with long time friend Don Callis. Omega has since gone on to defend the title against the likes of Rey Fenix and Jon Moxley – the latter in an exploding barbed wire death match at Revolution.

THE AEW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

RIHO: 133 DAYS
On the very first episode of AEW Dynamite, Riho shocked the world by defeating Nyla Rose to become the first ever AEW women’s champion. Defeating the likes of Britt Baker and Emi Sakura, Riho’s title reign lasted for over 100 days.
NYLA ROSE: 101 DAYS
On the February 12th episode of Dynamite, Nyla Rose defeated Riho in a rematch to claim her first title in the company. She would then defend the title against Kris Statlander a few weeks later at the Revolution PPV.
HIKARU SHIDA: CURRENT CHAMPION*
Shida captured the title from Nyla Rose at Double or Nothing 2020, during a No DQ, Falls Count Anywhere match. Since winning the title, Shida has defended it against Penelope Ford at Fyter Fest, and Thunder Rosa at All Out, before going up against Nyla Rose in a rematch at Full Gear.
THE AEW TNT TITLE
CODY RHODES: 82 DAYS + 31 DAYS
Cody Rhodes became the first ever AEW TNT champion when he won an 8-man tournament, defeating Lance Archer at Double or Nothing 2020. Cody then used his first run as the champion to defend the title in an open challenge match each week on Dynamite. After defeating the likes of Jungle boy, Sonny Kiss, independent star Warhorse, and Eddie Kingston (now signed to AEW), Cody’s first reign as champion was the first singles title run in the company to last under 100 days.
Cody went on to capture the title for a second time, defeating the then-champion Brodie Lee in a brutal Dog Collar Match on Dynamite.
BRODIE LEE: 55 DAYS
Cody’s firs title run ended at the hands of the leader of the Dark Order, on a special Saturday night edition of Dynamite (due to the NBA playoffs). Brodie Lee’s only successful title defense came against Cody’s brother Dustin Rhodes on Dynamite.
DARBY ALLIN: CURRENT CHAMPION*
Number one contender Darby Allin captured the his first title at Full Gear 2020, upsetting Cody Rhodes to end his second reign as champion.
THE AEW TAG TEAM TITLES

SOCAL UNCENSORED: 83 DAYS
SoCal members Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian became the inaugural tag team champions when they defeated the Lucha Bros in the finals of an 8-team tournament. During their first title reign, they defended their championships during a Triple-Threat Tag Team Match at Full Gear 2019 defeating the Lucha Bros and Private Party, retaining their titles.
Kenny Omega + Hangman Adam Page: 228 DAYS
The newly formed team of Omega and Page won the titles from SoCal Uncensored during Chris Jericho’s ‘Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea Part Deux-Second Wave’. The highlight of their 200-plus day title run came against fellow Elite members the Young Bucks at Revolution 2020, in a match that many consider one of the greatest tag team matches ever.
FTR: 63 DAYS
After recently joining AEW from WWE, FTR captured their first AEW titles at All Out 2020, defeating Omega and Hangman Page. They then went on to have successful title defenses against the Hybrid-2 and Best Friends.
YOUNG BUCKS: CURRENT CHAMPIONS*
In a dream tag team match that fans thought would never happen, the Young Bucks captured the AEW tag titles for the first time at Full Gear 2020. The match stipulated that if they had failed to win, they would never be allowed to go for the titles again.
