A source at SEScoops has claimed that former Impact Wrestling world champion Tessa Blanchard is close to signing for All Elite Wrestling. The source has gone as far as saying that the deal is just a formality now and that both parties have been in contractual discussions for the past month.
If Blanchard signs for AEW it will come with a lot of controversy as independent wrestler Black Rose made several allegations towards Blanchard in 2020 over racism and bullying other female talent.
Blanchard was also released by Impact Wrestling in 2020 while she was the Impact World champion after she refused to send in video promos while not being in attendance due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
