One Stop Wrestling has been provided with information on AEW striking copyright content.
Back in 2021 AEW began to strike certain online social media accounts with copyright strikes. The source that we spoke with stated that this was because Tony Khan saw certain accounts being negative towards AEW.
These accounts included the likes GirlOnCinema and AEW Botches on Twitter. Our source also claimed that Tony Khan was adamant about Botchamania being given copyright strikes as it showed AEW in a negative light. Botchamania was temporarily removed from YouTube because of these strikes.
Our source also states despite knowing of copyright material being used on platforms like Reddit, AEW were willing to allow it as it created a positive narrative for the company.
