During an interview with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, William Regal confirmed he had plans to sign Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & Ricky Starks to NXT contracts.
However with WWE changing the direction of NXT these plans were scuppered.
Yuta had a WWE tryout back in August of 2021 and was considered a slam dunk to be signed.
