Tony Khan Provides Update on Penelope Ford’s AEW Status

AEW President Tony Khan has taken to Twitter to shut down any rumours that Penelope Ford’s time with the company may be coming to an end soon.

Ford has not been seen on AEW television for a while and has only wrestled two matches for the company this year.

But when asked by a fan on social media if had given up with Ford, Tony Khan provided an update by stating the star was not medically cleared to compete currently.

Not at all, total opposite in fact; she’s a great wrestler, and I can’t wait until she’s medically cleared to come back. She’s been in some classic @AEW matches, and hopefully she’ll be in many more!#AEWRampage
