BIG UPDATE On Why Riddle & Seth Rollins Has Been Scrapped For Summerslam

Fightful Select have reported that the injury WWE announced today for Riddle is in fact a kayfabe injury.

WWE announced that Riddle had suffered a stinger this past Monday on Raw which medically disqualified him for Summerslam.

BREAKING: @WWERollins injured @SuperKingofBros with a vicious attack on #WWERaw that resulted in a brachial plexus injury (a stinger). Riddle is medically disqualified until full strength returns.

Fightful Select have claimed the match between Riddle & Rollins is scheduled to take place at a later date, potentially at Clash At The Castle in September.

The report also states the reason the match has been cancelled at Summerslam is for creative adjustments.
