Sasha Banks has been away from the wrestling world since May 16th 2022 when herself and Naomi stepped away from the business following a backstage disagreement. Since then Sasha Banks has been spotted at different events from fashion shows to basketball games.
Banks, now going by her real name Mercedes Varnado is currently expected to be at New Japan Pro Wrestlings Wrestle Kingdom 17 event next month, this is according to multiple sources close to the party.
It is currently unknown if Varnado will be shown before the crowd on camera or if she will be there to show her support. A few months back in October, Mercedes had teased the possibility of wrestling former WWE star KAIRI over in Stardom, which is owned by the same corporate owner as NJPW.
Varnado has been seen training for a possible wrestling return in recent months, even recently filing some trademarks possibly associated to her return.
