As reported by Fightful, but first reported by PW insider, Jeff Hardy is set to appear in court for a pre-trial hearing on Wednesday, December 21. The original hearing for Hardy was pushed back multiple times, as requested by his attorneys.
Jeff Hardy was arrested in Volusia County, Florida on June 13. He was charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license and violating restrictions placed on a driver’s license. On June 28 Hardy would go on to file a written plea of “not guilty”. Hardy waived a right to a speedy trial on August 10.
Hardy who joined AEW earlier this year, has been absent from TV since the arrest. Matt Hardy has since continued to provide updates on the current status of his brother.
The latest update from Matt came about on December 9:
“He’s basically been doing the same thing he’s been doing. He’s doing exactly what he needs to be doing to get where he needs to be in life. More or less, we’ve just got to get these legal issues behind him before we move forward, so that’s kind of where we’re at with Jeff, and we’re hoping that happens sooner rather than later,”
