WWE potentially interested in New Japan star:
Backstage reports suggest WWE officials are interested in Hikuleo. According to a report from Fightful Select, some WWE management have expressed interest in signing Hikuleo, supposedly for a few months too.
WWE recently made the signing of Dragon Lee with help from current WWE star Finn Balor who acted as an intermediary between the two parties. Supposedly the same is happening with Hikuleo, with current talent also expressing an interest in signing him. It’s noted that top NJPW star Jay White challenged Hikuleo to a “loser leaves Japan match” which could further the speculation into the interest.
Hikuleo is the adoptive son of WWE legend Haku and has been wrestling since 2016, he also made a few appearances for AEW in 2021 and 2022 as well as about a dozen matches for Impact in those same years.
