Adam Cole returned to AEW this past on Wednesday’s Dynamite. This marked the first appearance in many months after he had concussion issues.
Cole cut his promo stating he had good and bad news. He detailed his recovery and announced he was back. He said the bad news was for the AEW locker room.

AEW wanted to make sure the return was kept secret and did all they could to keep it under wraps. Fightful Select reported that a “TBD promo” segment was listed on the internal run sheet after Jon Moxley v Hangman Page. This was revealed to be Adam Cole’s segment.
To ensure the fans wouldn’t see him arrive, Cole took an uncomfortable route into the arena. He hid in the back of a vehicle where he was sandwiched between the front and the back seats on the floor. He also had his hoodie zipped up to cover his face to prevent anyone from spotting him. He was most likely hiding in a room or a bus as WWE and AEW have done many times to keep returns a secret.
