Thunder Rosa Potentially Set For Return Soon:
Thunder Rosa will be returning to AEW “pretty soon”, however, the former AEW Women’s Champion won’t be getting back in the ring yet.
Thunder recently spoke on Busted Open Radio and talked about her return: Since we’re talking about AEW, I’m probably going to be coming back on the road pretty soon. Not to wrestle, but we’re going to be out at AEW and showing face and being around all this stuff. It’s going to be nice to be around everyone and see how things unfold.”
Thunder has been on the shelf since August last year with a back injury. She was originally supposed to be back in the ring for the Full Gear PPV in November but, according to a report from last year, her return was put back to the end of February.

Thunder initially remained AEW Women’s World Champion after her injury, which put the title in an interim period with Toni Storm being the interim champion after Thunder’s injury. Thunder was then fully stripped of the title after AEW realised the extent of her injury following Full Gear, and Toni Storm’s interim reign was then made official. Jamie Hayter became undisputed AEW Women’s World Champion and has held on to the title since then.
