Wrestlemania 39 is over and here we go with our top 5 moments from night 2 of the showcase of the immortals.
5: Brock Gets The Big Man Up
Brock Lesnar managed to get Omos up for an F5 and the win in just under 5 minutes. Exactly what you’d expect from a Brock/Omos match and the two did what they needed to do to get night 2 underway.
4: A banging Match
The triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship certainly didn’t disappoint as the 3 titans beat the stuffing out of each other in a very hard hitting and exciting match that ultimately saw Gunther continue his awesome run as Intercontinental Champion.
3: Bianca Stands Tall
Bianca Belair successfully retained her Raw Women’s Championship after a competitive match with Asuka which saw some solid wrestling throughout. Bianca scored the win with a huge KOD off the top rope to surely extend her reign to over a year.
2: Edge Vanquishes the Demon
The Hell In A Cell match between The Rated R Superstar and The Demon has surely bought to a close the long standing rivalry between Edge and the group as Edge scored the big win after a conchairto. The match stopped early on for Balor to get stitches which may have hurt the aura of the match, but the two still delivered a weapon filled hard hitting match.
1: And Still…
In a surprising result, Roman Reigns successfully retained his World Championship after help from Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. Possibly a big opportunity missed to crown Cody as the top babyface of the company. The result knocked the enthusiasm out of the crowd, who were expecting Cody’s big coronation, however it didn’t come as The Tribal Chief closes in on 1,000 days as champ.
