MLW Flexes Middleweight Depth With Title Match Ahead Of War Chamber [SPOILERS FOR WAR CHAMBER TAPINGS]

Earlier last week MLW had it’s War Chamber Tapings in the Beautiful Melrose Ballroom in Astoria Queen. A nice sized crowd filled the night club and concert venue for a night of action.

Early in the night we had our first surprise of the evening when the Scheduled Title Match between AKIRA (Recent MLW Debut in the Raven lead stable The Calling along side Ricky Shane Page) and MLW Middleweight Champion and Former WWE 24/7 Champion Lince Dorado but due to Dorado’s physical title Belt being stolen at the Last Philadelphia Tapings by Lio Rush, the former WWE Cruiserweight and MLW Middleweight Champion had something to say about that, turning the match into an impromptu Threeway Match for the Gold. A Match that saw some amazing action from all three men and saw AKIRA upsetting the established champion and his challenger while giving The Calling some Teeth for their upcoming Main Event that Evening.

AKIRA is well know around the US as a Death Match competitor, who’s made a name for himself in Various death match tournaments and promotions like GCW, ICW No Holds Barred and IWA Mid South. The MLW World Middleweight is the first title of Major Note on his resume. We hope the man known as the “Death Fighter” The best in his future title defence’s.
