Liv Morgan Injury Update

Liv Morgan, a prominent WWE Superstar, has been forced to pull out of a scheduled match on WWE RAW due to an undisclosed injury. Reports indicate that Morgan suffered the injury during a Women’s Tag Team Title match against Damage CTRL on SmackDown last Friday. As a result, she is currently sidelined and unable to compete.

The extent of Morgan’s injury remains undisclosed, but it is believed to be minor based on WWE’s booking decisions. This conclusion was shared by Dave Meltzer during an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer stated, “If it’s just one match, they don’t strip [of the title] for a minor injury.” He further emphasized that WWE would not have postponed the scheduled match if Morgan’s absence was expected to be prolonged.

The repercussions of Morgan’s injury were evident during a Cricket Wireless meet and greet on Monday, where she was replaced by Dolph Ziggler. Moreover, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match featuring Morgan and Rodriguez against Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green was postponed during Monday’s RAW. Rodriguez later secured a victory over Green in a singles match, only to be blindsided by the return of Ronda Rousey and Shaya Baszler.

Although specifics regarding the injury have not been disclosed, Meltzer’s analysis suggests that Morgan’s absence is likely to be short-term. The booking decisions made by WWE, such as the angle with Rousey, Baszler, and Raquel, indicate that Morgan’s return to action is anticipated in the near future.
