WWE Reportedly Planning International Pay-Per-View on September 2, Destination Yet to be Disclosed

According to BoozerRasslin, WWE is gearing up to venture beyond the United States once again for a highly anticipated pay-per-view event scheduled for September 2. While specific details about the location and name of this major international extravaganza have not been revealed, recent reports indicate that WWE has shown a serious interest in holding a significant show in Australia. Company officials were reported to have visited Perth, Western Australia, engaging in talks that suggest a potential partnership with the local tourism board for co-promotion, similar to past events such as Backlash in Puerto Rico and Clash at the Castle in Wales.

Australia, which hasn’t hosted a major WWE event since the memorable Super ShowDown at Melbourne Cricket Ground in October 2018, could serve as an ideal destination. The previous show featured an impressive lineup of WWE Superstars, including John Cena, Buddy Murphy, Bobby Lashley, and a main event that witnessed The Undertaker and Triple H locking horns for the final time in a captivating singles match.

If WWE proceeds with a pay-per-view in Australia, it is expected to garner enthusiasm from both the fans and the WWE roster. Notably, Australia has produced several talented wrestlers, such as Rhea Ripley, Grayson Waller, and Bronson Reed, who would undoubtedly relish the opportunity to perform in their home country.
