AEW has made the decision to end popular YouTube shows AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation in order to accommodate the addition of Collision to their taping and touring schedule. According to a report from PWInsider, this move has been well received backstage, as it has made AEW TV tapings much smoother.
Previously, Dark: Elevation was taped before Dynamite on Wednesdays, but now Dynamite includes pre-show matches to warm up the crowd, allowing more focus on the main shows while keeping the audience engaged. Looking ahead, Rampage and Ring of Honor (ROH) will partially fill the void left by Dark and Dark: Elevation. Rampage will continue to be recorded alongside Dynamite, while ROH TV tapings will take place during the Collision sessions starting in June.
