Hangman Page returns to AEW, ready for war.
The feud between The Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks) and Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli) has been intensifying. Hangman Page, who had a history with Moxley, joined The Elite but faced a brutal attack by BCC.
During the May 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, tensions escalated as Don Callis explained his betrayal of Omega. The BCC attacked Omega, claiming to be the true elite. However, Hangman Page made a dramatic return, joining The Elite to confront their rivals.
Page declared that The Elite is the heart and soul of AEW, challenging the Blackpool Combat Club to an Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing on May 28.
This marked Page’s comeback to AEW TV since the BCC attacked and injured him on April 5.
In a previous Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing 2022, The Jericho Appreciation Society emerged victorious against the BCC and their allies.
