During an in-depth conversation on The Corner Podcast, AEW superstar Saraya (also known as Paige) opened up about the possibility of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and expressed her belief that there are other women who deserve the honor before her.
When asked about the potential Hall of Fame induction, Saraya responded with enthusiasm, saying, “I would — I mean, Twitter would be very mad but I would accept it and post it all over Twitter (if WWE decided to put me in their Hall of Fame). But I would be like, absolutely, yes I do. I will be a part of the Hall of Fame, thank you. I would love to be in the Hall of Fame one day. I would love it. I feel like I’ve done a lot, I feel like I have.”
However, Saraya quickly turned the focus to her fellow female wrestlers and emphasized that they should be recognized before her. She highlighted the achievements of A.J. Lee and other women in the industry, stating, “A lot of women have done a lot though. You look at A.J. Lee and you know, all these women, they deserve to be in it too before me, so, it’s awesome.”
Saraya’s humble perspective and willingness to prioritize the recognition of other women demonstrate her deep respect and admiration for their contributions to professional wrestling.
