Bad Bunny Reveals He Sustained Injuries in Thrilling WWE Backlash Street Fight
In a jaw-dropping display of athleticism and showmanship, Bad Bunny wowed his fellow Puerto Ricans at the Backlash PPV with a captivating street fight against Damian Priest. The electrifying match also marked the return of beloved wrestling icons such as Savio Vega and Carlito.
Bad Bunny fearlessly put his body on the line, enduring brutal bumps, including a heart-stopping crash through multiple tables. He absorbed punishment from various weapons and maneuvers, leaving him visibly banged up. Reflecting on his experience, the chart-topping artist admitted to Zane Lowe on New Music Daily that he genuinely believed he was “going to die” after the match.
“Wow, that was insane. That was really crazy, the people, the energy was another level,” Bad Bunny shared. “I remember, I said before the WrestleMania fight that day was one of my favorite moments of my life, but the Backlash fight in Puerto Rico was another level. It was really one of the biggest and best moments of my life, I really enjoyed that fight.”
Acknowledging his injuries, Bad Bunny revealed, “I suffered. Yeah, I got hurt. My back, my whole body, bro. My whole body. I felt that I was going to die after that match.” Despite the physical toll, his passion for the sport remained unwavering. “I was prepared then, and now I’m going to drop a song. I know. I’m a crazy guy. I love it. I love it, and that’s what matters,” he expressed.
Reports have emerged suggesting that Bad Bunny’s sensational performance may not be a one-time spectacle. With the enormous success of his match against Priest, fans can expect to see the multifaceted artist return to the WWE ring in the near future.
