Injury Update On Andrade El Idolo

The much-anticipated return of Andrade El Idolo takes center stage as AEW Collision unveils its impressive lineup. Promotional material for the upcoming weekly program, premiering on June 17, features renowned names such as Miro, Samoa Joe, Thunder Rosa, Powerhouse Hobbs, and the highly anticipated comeback of Andrade El Idolo.

Andrade’s absence from the wrestling scene since September, due to a torn pectoral muscle, left fans eagerly awaiting his return. Following a backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara, Andrade was temporarily sent home by AEW in October. However, his recent progress is promising.

During a discussion on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared an exciting update, stating, “Andrade will be back in time because Andrade booked… Andrade is actually working a show in Mexico two days before, which I believe is going to be the first match back. So he should be back on that show and ready to go after his surgery to repair a torn pec.”

The inclusion of Andrade in the lineup further amplifies the anticipation surrounding AEW Collision. Fans can look forward to witnessing his triumphant return to the ring, adding an extra layer of excitement to this highly anticipated program.
