In a recent conference appearance, WWE CEO Nick Khan discussed the potential for changes in WWE programming. While stating that Raw’s three-hour format is unlikely to change, Khan mentioned the possibility of moving the show from its traditional Monday slot if necessary. Additionally, he expressed openness to the idea of adding a third hour to SmackDown.
Khan made these remarks at the JP Morgan Global Technology, Media & Communications Conference, where he also addressed the consideration of adjustments to the 10 PM hour of Raw to attract a more mature audience. He confirmed that WWE is currently in an exclusive negotiation period with NBCUniversal regarding the renewal rights for their long-standing Monday night program. However, the negotiation window with Fox has expired after beginning during WrestleMania 39 weekend in early-April.
