WWE Raw has maintained a three-hour format for over a decade since its official transition in July 2012 during Raw 1000. Throughout the years, WWE has made various attempts to inject excitement into the third hour of the show, such as introducing Raw Underground and experimenting with a ‘dark hour’ in 2019, where the lights were dimmed.
During the JPMorgan Global TMT Teleconference, WWE CEO Nick Khan addressed the topic of the show’s format. While Khan expressed no immediate plans to alter the duration of Raw, he revealed that discussions have taken place regarding the content of the third hour and the possibility of making it more targeted towards an adult audience
