Reports suggest that WWE currently has no concrete plans for Lacey Evans in terms of creative direction.
During the 2023 WWE Draft, Evans was chosen to join the SmackDown brand. However, according to Ringside News, WWE is currently occupied with numerous other priorities on the blue brand, which has left Evans’ future in limbo.
Since her defeat alongside Xia Li against Natalya and Shotzi on the March 24 episode of SmackDown, Evans has not competed in a televised WWE match. Prior to that, she had secured a squash singles victory against enhancement talent Carmen Harress on the February 10 SmackDown. Her most recent appearances have been limited to four SmackDown dark matches, where she faced Tegan Nox on March 31 (in which she was defeated), Shotzi on April 14 and April 28 (both ending in her defeat), and Mia Yim on May 19 (resulting in her defeat as well).
