WWE Unveils New Tag Team Set to Debut on TV

In a recent development highlighting WWE’s ongoing influx of fresh talent, the company has announced the upcoming debut of a new tag team on television.

Following the WWE Draft, which saw 18 NXT stars transition to the main roster, the brand has undergone a rejuvenation process. This involved a mix of established main roster performers moving in the opposite direction and the introduction of promising trainees from the Performance Center.

During the latest episode of NXT on June 13, notable names such as Mustafa Ali, Baron Corbin, Dana Brooke, and Los Lotharios graced the stage, with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins also confirmed for an appearance in the following week.

Conversely, the show also featured a video teaser, building anticipation for the imminent NXT television debut of the tag team comprising Bronco Nima and Lucien Price (the video can be viewed below this article).

It is worth noting that Nima and Price have been regularly teaming up at house shows and on NXT Level Up since August 2022. However, due to an injury, Price was sidelined for a few months earlier this year.

While they have previously collaborated, this will mark their first appearance on NXT’s main television programming.

Both Nima, whose real name is Edwin Grande, and Price, whose real name is Nnamdi Oguayo, have backgrounds in football. They were part of the WWE recruitment class of March 2022, which also included established names like Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, Thea Hail, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, Kiana James, Fallon Henley, and Hank Walker.
