Bandido’s journey in AEW has encountered its fair share of obstacles. First, visa complications disrupted his momentum after officially joining the company towards the end of last year. Now, unfortunate injuries have become another hindrance.
Taking to his Facebook page, Bandido reached out to his fans following his AEW Rampage match against Konosuke Takeshita, revealing that he had sustained a broken wrist during the bout.
“My wrist is fractured! While competing against Takeshita at the AEW Rampage event, I suffered a broken wrist. The initial diagnosis indicates a triangular fibrocartilage complex injury, requiring immediate surgery. On Monday, I will seek a second and final opinion, and unfortunately, I will have to cancel my upcoming commitments. My sincerest apologies to all the fans.”
The severity of the surgery and the expected duration of his absence from action remain uncertain. Nevertheless, we extend our well wishes for a swift recovery to the former ROH World Champion.
