WWE star Dakota Kai who had been out of action due to a torn ACL has taken to Instagram to provide an update on her ongoing recovery process.
Dakota Kai, a member of Damage CTRL, suffered the unfortunate injury during a tag team match on May 12 during Smackdown. The match involved Kai teaming up with Bayley against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Unfortunately, Morgan also sustained a serious shoulder injury during the same match.
Although it is still early in her recovery timeline, Kai decided to share a positive update on her condition with her fans. She mentioned on Instagram:
“I’m no longer wearing my brace and I’m back to wearing sweatpants with holes in the knees.”
During Kai’s absence, her Damage CTRL teammates Bayley and IYO SKY have continued to work together, although tension between the two has been growing.
Both SKY and Bayley are scheduled to participate in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on July 1 in London. The complete lineup for the match includes Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, and the recently qualified Trish Stratus.
While the men’s match had already confirmed its six competitors, a seventh contender was added to the mix during Monday Night Raw. Logan Paul announced that he would be entering the match for the first time.
