Kenny Omega Injury Update

According to recent reports, Kenny Omega emerged from his intense encounter with Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door without any significant injuries, despite a concerning moment where he was dropped on his head towards the conclusion of the match.

Noted wrestling journalist Bryan Alvarez has provided an update, stating that Omega appears to be fine following the alarming bump. However, it remains unclear whether he received medical evaluation or underwent X-rays as a precautionary measure. While Omega took to social media to address the match, he refrained from commenting on his physical condition.

On Twitter, Ospreay gracefully acknowledged his defeat, acknowledging that tonight, Omega was the superior competitor. He assured fans that the US belt is in capable hands and cheekily added, “Keep Don away from it,” alluding to Don Callis, who had been involved in the match with a series of interferences.

The clash between Omega and Ospreay lasted for more than 40 minutes, ultimately resulting in Ospreay emerging victorious. Notably, this encounter marked their second meeting this year, with Omega having previously defeated Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom 17 to claim the IWGP United States Championship.
