According to a report from Fightful Select, Colt Cabana, has made his return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) after an absence of approximately seven months. Cabana was spotted working for AEW during the July 5 episode of AEW Dynamite in Edmonton. His last appearance on AEW programming was in November, where he surprised fans as the ROH World Title Challenger to Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite. In the meantime, he has also made appearances on Ring of Honor (ROH) programming, including an unsuccessful challenge against Samoa Joe for the ROH World TV Title in April.

Fightful Select’s sources indicate that Cabana has returned to AEW in a producer/coach role. The specific match he was assisting with has not been disclosed at this time. Cabana’s presence within AEW has been limited since AEW All Out, where he was mentioned by CM Punk during a post-show press conference, referencing their long-time friendship and subsequent falling out. It’s worth noting that Punk is currently associated with the Collision brand.
While it is unclear whether Cabana’s return is temporary or long-term, the information suggests that he will be more frequently involved with AEW moving forward.
