Former WWE Star Will Retire From Wrestling This Weekend

A veteran WWE star from the 2000s era is bidding farewell to his wrestling career this weekend.

Jimmy Yang, also known as Jimmy Wang Yang, is making a return to Japan after more than 20 years for Pro Wrestling Noah’s “One Night Dream” event on July 15. The 42-year-old wrestler will join forces with Super Crazy and Stallion Rogers, forming a team against Anthony Greene, YO-HEY, and Tadasuke.

While Jimmy has been involved in independent wrestling shows since his departure from WWE over a decade ago, he has also been running a limo service called Jimmy’s Redneck Party Bus in the Cincinnati area.

In addition to his own endeavors, Jimmy has been supporting his daughter’s journey into professional wrestling. Jazzy Yang, now 20 years old, made her wrestling debut in 2021 and initially teamed up with her father for her early matches. Since then, she has been showcasing her skills nationwide, including an appearance on Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6 show, “The Greatest Clusterf**k,” during WrestleMania weekend last year.

Both Jimmy and Jazzy will be participating in the “One Night Dream” event, with Jazzy teaming up with Miyuki Takase to take on Hibiscus Mii and Yuu.
