Major Update On AEW Adding More PPVs

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Considers Expanding Pay-Per-View Calendar

Traditionally, All Elite Wrestling has featured four pay-per-view events on their calendar since its inception. However, with the introduction of the Forbidden Door concept, the company has expanded to five events, and there are discussions of further expansion.

Ahead of the recent media rights deal, Warner Bros Discovery reportedly engaged in talks about the potential of increasing AEW’s pay-per-view calendar, potentially hosting one event per month. During a media call preceding AEW Blood & Guts and ROH Death Before Dishonor, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of expanding the PPV schedule.

Khan acknowledged that expanding the pay-per-view calendar has proven beneficial for other companies in the past. He confirmed that discussions with Warner Bros Discovery have taken place, and the general consensus is that it would be a “revenue positive” move for the company. Khan expressed that he has given the idea serious consideration.

While no specific details or decisions have been revealed, the potential expansion of AEW’s pay-per-view calendar hints at a more robust and exciting schedule of events for fans to look forward to in the future.
