Report: WWE SmackDown Top Star’s Debut Canceled, Leading to Multiple Changes

WWE SmackDown experienced multiple changes last night due to health concerns surrounding a COVID-19 scare, as reported by PW Insider. Some segments and stars were pulled from the show as a precautionary measure. Notably, the highly anticipated debut of Odyssey Jones on the main roster was canceled, leaving fans disappointed once again.

Despite the adjustments made, several parts of the show remained unaffected. However, some significant segments were dropped, including the announcement of WWE Women’s Champion Asuka’s opponents. Originally planned as an in-ring promo featuring Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and Adam Pearce, this segment was later removed from the schedule.

Additionally, there were changes to the match lineup. A bout between IYO Sky and Zelina Vega was initially set, but Vega ended up facing Charlotte Flair instead. Moreover, Odyssey Jones was scheduled to make his main roster debut in a dark match against Rick Boogs, but that encounter was also canceled.

As the months pass since the draft, Jones’ fans eagerly await his eventual debut on the main roster, hoping it will happen soon.
