Former WWE Star To Make IMPACT Wrestling Debut This Week

Former WWE star Samuray Del Sol, formerly known as Kalisto, is set to make his highly anticipated IMPACT Wrestling debut this week. IMPACT announced that he will step into the ring during the Chicago Heat TV tapings at Cicero Stadium over the weekend.

On Friday, July 28, Kalisto will team up with Black Taurus and Laredo Kid to face off against a formidable trio consisting of Bully Ray, Moose, and Brian Myers. The action continues on Saturday, July 29, as Samuray Del Sol takes on former X-Division Champion Chris Sabin in a thrilling singles match.

Other exciting matches announced for the TV tapings include Kenny King vs. Joe Hendry vs. Yuya Uemura, competing for the Digital Media Championship, and a tag team showdown featuring Mike Bailey & Jonathan Gresham taking on The Rascalz.

Samuray Del Sol has a rich wrestling background, having previously performed for WWE from 2013 until his release in 2021, where he held the United States Championship twice. In 2023, he has made appearances for DDT Pro Wrestling and AAA, in addition to touring Australia. The luchador also had a memorable match for All Elite Wrestling in November 2021. Now, fans eagerly anticipate witnessing his talent and skills on display as he enters the IMPACT Wrestling ring.
