Former AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky has suffered an injury, and an update has been revealed about his condition. Originally set to face Kip Sabian on the July 28 edition of Rampage, the match had to be changed due to Sky’s injury.

During the Wednesday taping, Tony Khan announced that Komander would step in to replace Sky in the bout, as Sky was unable to compete because of his injury. Sean Ross Sapp mentioned in a Fightful Select Q&A session that Sky was seen using crutches at the event, and the injury was described as a ‘freak accident.’ As of now, there is no clear indication of when Sky will be able to return to the ring.
