Kevin Owens Contemplates Early Exit from Wrestling Ring: Uncertain About Future Beyond Current WWE Deal

Kevin Owens’ potential departure from the wrestling ring could happen sooner than anticipated. While the past two years have been incredibly successful for the Canadian star, including competing in the main events of WrestleMania 38 with Steve Austin and teaming up with Sami Zayn in another main event, it seems Owens now believes he has achieved a lot in his career.

In a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, Owens admitted to being at a crossroads, with his desire to wrestle for another decade starting to fade away. Although he previously mentioned seeing himself in the ring for another five to ten years, he now finds himself uncertain about the future once his current WWE deal expires in 18 months.

Owens shared his thoughts, stating,

“I really don’t know. I used to say I don’t see myself not being in the ring for another five to 10 years. And if I said it right now, I’d be lying because over the last few months, I have to admit, I don’t know if that’s true anymore

I look at things and I don’t know where I stand going beyond the next year and a half. I know I want to be involved in wrestling. I know I want to be involved in the WWE and I know I have a place here. I just don’t know where it is exactly. Maybe it’s still in the ring, maybe it’s not. I don’t know.”
