Rhea Ripley appears to have shared her perspective on her exclusion from the August 5 WWE SummerSlam 2023 event card. WWE had previously promoted Ripley’s involvement, teasing a glimpse of her “SummerSlam glam” routine with makeup artist Laura Lomonaco via a TikTok stream.

However, Ripley’s recent tweet hints at a possible hint of sarcasm, pointing out the contrast between her media appearances and her actual absence from the SummerSlam match lineup. In her tweet, Ripley humorously wrote:
“SummerSlam media appearance look for reasons we all know of.”
Originally scheduled to compete against Raquel Rodriguez at SummerSlam, Ripley’s match, along with Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus, was postponed due to constraints on time. WWE indicated that there’s still a chance for Ripley vs. Rodriguez to be added last-minute if Rodriguez is cleared from injury within the storyline.
Interestingly, Ripley had previously endorsed tweets expressing fan disappointment regarding WWE’s decision to exclude two women’s matches from the SummerSlam event. This signals her alignment with the fans’ sentiments regarding these changes.
