Amid the event, various prominent individuals were either captured on camera or witnessed backstage, including former IMPACT Wrestling star Ziggy Dice and wrestling legend Dennis Condrey. Yet, another name with a background in WWE was also noted backstage.
According to information from PWInsider, Cathy Corino, who previously served as a WWE NXT Performance Center coach under the moniker Allison Danger, was present backstage at AEW Collision in Greenville. Corino, a cornerstone of ROH’s foundation, played a pivotal role in the first-ever Ring of Honor segment during Era of Honor Begins in February 2002. Furthermore, she made notable contributions to the progression of SHIMMER Women’s Wrestling.
Corino’s involvement extended to the WWE NXT Performance Center, where she assumed a coaching role in 2021. However, her association was brief, leading to her release a few months later in 2022.
Among the AEW fan base, speculation has grown that the return of former Allison Danger could significantly enrich the backstage dynamics of All Elite Wrestling, particularly in terms of bolstering and enhancing the AEW women’s division.
