Nick Aldis Addresses WWE Rumors Amid Departure from NWA

Nick Aldis, a two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, made a transition to free agency in January 2023. He marked his return to IMPACT Wrestling during the IMPACT Rebellion event and is believed to have concluded his stint with the company after the post-Slammiversary tapings. Recent reports from Mike Johnson of PWInsider have indicated WWE’s interest in Aldis, considering him as a potential producer.

In a recent interview on K100 with Konnan and Disco, Aldis responded to the circulating rumors. He stated, “I cannot confirm or deny [the rumors he might be going back to WWE],”

Delving deeper, Aldis touched on his departure from NWA and shed light on certain matters. He claimed that NWA owes him money, creating a sense of disappointment. He expressed feelings of betrayal specifically in relation to Pat Kenney, NWA’s Director of Talent Relations.

“I don’t want to air dirty laundry laundry, but [Pat Kenney] showed his true colors with my exit from NWA. I don’t want to get into it too much, but they owe me money, and it’s probably never gonna come. I felt betrayed by Pat, and I’ll just leave it at that,” Aldis shared.

Aldis’ words reflect his complex situation as he navigates his professional journey amid speculation and lingering issues from his tenure with NWA.
