AEW Fight Forever, which launched just over a month ago, received a mixed reception due to various factors. One significant criticism centered around the game’s outdated and relatively limited roster. The prolonged development cycle made it challenging to include a completely up-to-date lineup. Surprising inclusions like Cody Rhodes, who had already signed with WWE over a year prior, as well as missing names such as Samoa Joe and Jamie Hayter, drew attention.

The Anticipated Arrival of The Acclaimed
Notably absent from Fight Forever was the tag team The Acclaimed. Considering that Anthony Bowens and Max Caster have been active in AEW since late 2020, many anticipated their presence in the game’s original roster. Surprisingly, they were not featured, and even more puzzling was the absence of these former Tag Team Champions from the announced DLC packs.
Despite these initial shortcomings, there’s now confirmation that plans are in place to introduce The Acclaimed into Fight Forever. During a Q&A session on social media, a fan queried Bowens about their potential inclusion. Bowens responded, “We just did the voice effects for it. I have vids of @PlatinumMax doing his and I was laughing so hard I nearly passed out.” He assured fans that he will share the videos once they’ve been incorporated into the game.
