John Cena is gearing up for yet another return to the WWE stage, according to information from Fox Sports. Cena is scheduled to make an appearance on the September 1 episode of SmackDown. The event is set to unfold at The Giant Center located in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The accomplished 16-time World Champion’s most recent in-ring appearance took place in April at WrestleMania 39. During that event, Cena faced off against Austin Theory for the United States Championship. While Cena exhibited dominance for a significant portion of the match, he ultimately suffered defeat. This loss was attributed to a low-blow followed by an “A-Town Down” move executed by the reigning champ.

In a surprising twist, the 46-year-old WWE legend delighted fans in London by making an unannounced guest appearance at Money in the Bank hosted at The O2 Arena. During this appearance, Cena passionately expressed his belief that London should host a WrestleMania in the future. However, his speech was abruptly interrupted by up-and-coming talent Grayson Waller. In due course, Waller found himself on the receiving end of Cena’s signature “Attitude Adjustment” move, concluding the segment.
Sources indicate that Cena’s WWE journey will also lead him to India, as he is expected to participate in the upcoming WWE Superstar Spectacle show. The event is slated to occur at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium on Friday, September 8. Notably, this event marks WWE’s first live showcase
