As WWE approaches the anticipated completion of the acquisition of The Endeavor Group and the forthcoming merger of WWE and UFC into a new entity, they have significantly scaled back their signings of developmental talents throughout 2023. Despite this trend, the company has officially welcomed a new addition to its roster.
According to Pwinsider, Brian Pillman Jr. has officially commenced his journey with WWE NXT this week. This announcement follows his successful participation in a tryout held last month in Orlando, FL.

Brian Pillman Jr.’s departure from AEW occurred upon the expiration of his contract with the promotion. Notably, his profile has been removed from the AEW roster on the official company website. During his tenure of three years with AEW, he predominantly partnered with Griff Garrison, and together, they made appearances on programs like Dark and Dark: Elevation.
Concluding his independent circuit appearances earlier this month, Pillman faced off against then-NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Kerry Morton at the Gathering IV event in Charlotte, NC, resulting in a loss.
As per the report, there is currently no pressure to rush Brian Pillman Jr.’s television debut. The initial strategy involves integrating Pillman into the Performance Center system, allowing him to acclimate and establish himself within the WWE environment.
