MJF and Samoa Joe Engage in Fiery Verbal Showdown

Following their intense encounter at the All Out pay-per-view, MJF and Samoa Joe squared off on the microphone during the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. The two wrestling heavyweights engaged in a heated promo exchange when MJF was discussing his upcoming AEW World Championship defense at Grand Slam.

MJF wasted no time, playfully accusing Joe of mistaking his entrance music for the tune of an ice cream truck. Joe, with his trademark wit, retorted that the last time he encountered an ice cream truck was when he appeared in Peacock’s ‘Twisted Metal’ series.

Throughout their verbal joust, Joe repeatedly referred to MJF as ‘kid,’ which only fueled the already fiery AEW World Champion’s anger. MJF took the opportunity to delve into his history with wrestling legend William Regal, proudly stating that he had sent Regal packing back to NXT, and warned Joe of a similar fate if he wasn’t cautious.

As tensions escalated, MJF attempted to exit the ring, but Joe wasn’t ready to let him off the hook. Joe launched an attack, pummeling MJF until Adam Cole rushed to MJF’s aid. With the assistance of medical personnel, MJF was eventually escorted backstage, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this intense rivalry.
