Smackdown Ratings Plummet For 9/8 Episode

Let’s dive into the viewership statistics for the September 8 episode of WWE SmackDown.

According to Brandon Thurston’s analysis on Wrestlenomics, the final average viewership for the September 8 episode of SmackDown stood at 2.094 million viewers. This figure marks a significant decline compared to the September 1 edition of the show, which garnered 2.443 million viewers.

Additionally, the September 8 broadcast of SmackDown recorded a 0.53 rating in the crucial 18 to 49 demographic. This rating, too, experienced a noticeable drop from the previous Friday’s show, which boasted a 0.65 rating.

Initial reports from Spoiler TV indicate that WWE SmackDown on September 8 pulled in 1.969 million viewers in preliminary numbers. This represents a decrease from the 2.28 million viewers recorded in the preliminary figures on September 1.

In terms of the 18 to 49 demographic, Friday’s episode achieved a preliminary rating of 0.47, down from the previous Friday’s preliminary rating of 0.6.

Despite these declines, it’s worth noting that WWE SmackDown retained its position as the top-rated show on cable for September 8.
