Good news has emerged concerning wrestling legend “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. On September 9, it was revealed by his wife, Debra, that the WWE icon had undergone an emergency surgery, which was reported as successful. Duggan’s hospitalization had begun on the previous Friday.
Providing an encouraging update, Duggan himself took to social media on September 11 to share the news that he has been discharged from the hospital. In his post, he expressed gratitude to the dedicated medical professionals, nurses, and staff at Glens Falls Hospital, as well as the individuals who kept him in their thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.

It’s important to note that just last year, in August 2022, Duggan completed a round of cancer radiation treatment. He had previously triumphed over cancer but faced a recurrence in May 2022.
Jim Duggan’s storied career includes winning the inaugural Royal Rumble, and he received the prestigious honor of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
