In recent years, there has been ongoing speculation surrounding the potential for AEW programming, including PPV events, to make a move to a streaming service, with MAX being the primary contender. Although plans were considered for AEW’s All In London 2023 event to be broadcast on MAX, this arrangement did not materialize.
Andrew Zarian, a prominent voice from the Mat Men Podcast, has put forth a claim suggesting that AEW is gearing up for significant changes. According to Zarian’s post on X, he confidently asserts that AEW will make its debut on MAX in 2024. Furthermore, he predicts an expansion of AEW’s PPV schedule to include a total of 12 events per year.
As of now, in 2023, AEW is set to wrap up the year with a total of seven PPVs, a notable increase from their previous annual schedule. These events include Revolution, Double or Nothing, Forbidden Door, All In, All Out, WrestleDream, and Full Gear, marking the most extensive lineup of PPV events in AEW’s history. These developments signal a potentially transformative period for AEW’s broadcasting and event schedule.
