Tiffany Stratton is set for a championship rematch at NXT No Mercy.
Becky Lynch, making her return to the NXT ring for the first time since 2019 on September 12, clinched a historic victory by defeating Tiffany Stratton and capturing her maiden NXT Women’s Championship.
Lynch graced the September 19 episode of NXT with her presence, exuberantly celebrating her championship triumph. In a sporting gesture, she assured Stratton that she would grant her a rematch whenever she desired, recognizing the former champion’s skills. Seizing the moment, Stratton emerged and promptly challenged Lynch to a match at NXT No Mercy, scheduled for September 30. Lynch embraced the challenge but remarked that Stratton needed to show more hunger. This exchange escalated into a physical altercation, with Kiana James joining the fray.
WWE swiftly confirmed this highly anticipated title showdown for the forthcoming premium live event.

Later during the show, a handicap match pitting Stratton and James against Lynch was arranged. However, Lyra Valkyria made a surprising entrance and teamed up with Lynch to overcome the duo. After the match concluded, Stratton resorted to using a chair to attack Lynch, further intensifying their rivalry. In response, Lynch declared that their clash at NXT No Mercy would be contested under Extreme Rules.
