Around the time of Summerslam, when Fightful inquired about the possibility of Roman Reigns losing the WWE Universal Championship, multiple sources indicated that other members of the Bloodline were considered important in the company’s plans. Specifically, there was confidence within WWE and among those involved in the Bloodline storyline that it would propel Jey Uso into singles stardom, and so far, that appears to be the case.
Fightful’s sources revealed that Uso’s move to WWE Raw was a deliberate step in this process, and there are long-term plans in place for him, with these plans already in motion. Those familiar with the situation indicated that Uso is tentatively slated for a substantial and prominently featured role that is expected to extend at least through the next two months, ensuring he receives significant screen time. WWE officials have been delighted with the audience reactions to Jey Uso’s performance in this role.
