On the heels of announcements from the September 25 episode, the first segment will feature WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther and Tommaso Ciampa signing the contract for their impending title showdown. While the match date remains unspecified, Ciampa’s recent victories over Gunther’s associates, Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, have put him in the championship picture. Gunther, on September 25, made it clear that he intends to handle Ciampa personally.
In a second noteworthy development, Tegan Nox is primed to challenge for the NXT Championship. Her opportunity hinges on the outcome of the title clash between Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy on September 30. Nox earned her shot at the gold by defeating Natalya during the September 25 episode of WWE Raw.
