Tony Khan, the President of AEW, has offered his comments on Jade Cargill, following the recent announcement of her official signing with WWE. WWE has confirmed that Cargill has secured a multi-year contract with the organization.
According to an official statement released on WWE.com, Cargill is set to commence her training at the Performance Center in Orlando starting today, September 26. Cargill gained significant recognition in AEW, making her wrestling debut on Dynamite in March 2021 and subsequently building an impressive undefeated streak, along with a championship reign as the TBS Champion.
During a pre-AEW WrestleDream media call on Tuesday, September 26, Tony Khan expressed his openness, stating that Jade is always welcome in AEW. Khan extended his well wishes to Cargill for her future endeavors, saying:
“I have only positive things to say about Jade, she’s always welcome here.
“She had a great run with us, and has a great career in front of her. Wishing her nothing but the best for the future.”
