Renowned wrestling icon Chris Jericho is set to carry his long-standing grudge from AEW all the way to Japan’s shores! In a surprising turn of events, Jericho made his presence felt through a video message that aired after KONOSUKE TAKESHITA’s special singles match against MAO at the DDT Pro Wrestling event “Who’s Gonna TOP? 2023” show that was held at the Korakuen Hall, Tokyo. In this electrifying message, Jericho issued a challenge to Takeshita for a Dramatic Dream Match scheduled for November 12th at DDT’s “Ultimate Party 2023” in the hallowed Ryogoku Sumo Hall.
In a swift and fiery response, Takeshita, flanked by Don Callis, didn’t mince words as he accepted Jericho’s challenge. He emphatically said “You are stupid! I will destroy Lionheart, I will destroy Y2J, I will destroy Painmaker, I will destroy everything about you. I am the real Alpha. See you in DDT!”
